Many years as a management consultant and my PhD on the design of digital ecosystems have taught me to view organizations as complex systems. Technical solutions without organizational insights increase this complexity instead of reducing it. My interests in digital technologies and data, as well as organizational change are therefore accompanied by a passion for finding simple, clear concepts and solutions. As an entrepreneur, I am convinced that we need to question our own organizational forms and goals from time to time in order to move forward. In my private life, I can be found in the kitchen (fermenting) or on a mountain (out of breath).
